Compact and slim package! By performing ON/OFF control, it is possible to improve display visibility, extend the lifespan of the light source, and reduce power consumption.
The "CPS303AT" is a light sensor that incorporates a photodiode with spectral sensitivity close to human visual sensitivity, along with a current amplification circuit and a digital conversion circuit on the same chip.
It outputs detection results as a 16-bit digital value via the I2C interface.
By adjusting the brightness of light sources such as displays and controlling ON/OFF based on the illuminance output, it enables improved visibility, extended lifespan of the light source, and reduced power consumption.
【Features】
■ Spectral sensitivity characteristics close to human visual sensitivity
